Welcome

Our club’s aim is to foster an interest in and the enjoyment of photography.  We do this through competitions, workshops, lectures, outings and meetings with other camera clubs.

Our members are all keen amateur photographers. Their photographic interests may vary – landscape, portraiture, sporting, abstract, etc.,  but they all share a passion for capturing great images, improving their skills and techniques and sharing their knowledge and experiences with other members.  Some examples of our members’ recent photos appear on this page.

Berowra Woodchop & weekend away

Dear Members,

As you know, we’re gearing up for some exciting events in the coming months, including our participation in the Berowra Woodchop festival on Sunday, August 25th. Last year’s outing was a blast, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase our club and connect with the wider community.

However, a bit of a scheduling conflict has come to light. The Woodchop falls on the same weekend as our previously planned photography getaway to Portland (August 23rd-25th).

Here’s where we need your input! Have any of you amazing early birds already booked accommodation for the Portland trip?

If not, or if your bookings are flexible, the committee would like to propose moving the weekend away to August 9th-11th. This would allow us to participate in both the Woodchop and enjoy our Portland adventure without any overlap.

Please let Jakki know by Monday, April 15th, if this change in the Portland trip date would cause any problems for you. You can reach Jakki at jakjakjakki@gmail.com
